Iris Malone

Iris Malone, 70, of Dayton, OH, and formerly of Jellico passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 at her home.

She was born September 3, 1947 in Jellico, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by father, Lewis Dee Malone; mother, Bertha Randolph Chambers; stepfather, Jay Chambers; brother, Charles Johnny Malone; sister, Kay Frances Malone; brother-in-law, Swan Janeway.

Iris is survived by her companion, Dairel Freeman; daughter, Rhonda Douglas and husband Mike; son, Ronald Malone and wife Jill; grandchildren, Caleb Malone, Michael Douglas, Mitchell Douglas; sisters, Betty Janeway, Mary Ann Mahaffey and husband Ken; sister-in-law: ​Pat Malone; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.

The funeral was held Friday, February 2, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Douglas and Rev. Steve Morgan officiating.

Burial was held Saturday, February 3, in the Lot Cemetery (Lot Mud Creek) in Williamsburg.

Harp Funeral Home of Jellico was in charge of arrangements.
