Christy Rae Jarboe

Christy Rae Jarboe, 37, of Sukey Hollow Road, Williamsburg, departed this life on Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Jellico Community Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on October 24, 1980 in Corbin.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Elijah Hubbard; grandparents, Johnie and Anna Mae (Patrick) Lovitt; aunt, Kathy Hubbard and a niece, Riley Kate Hubbard.

Christy was a nurse at the Williamsburg Nursing Home and a member of Saxton Baptist Church and Choir.

She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Jarboe of Williamsburg; beloved son, Connor Elijah Matt Jarboe of Williamsburg; parents, Homer and Clara Hubbard of Williamsburg; brother, Elijah Hubbard (Christy) of Corbin; father and mother-in-law, David and Linda Jarboe of Williamsburg; grandmother, Julia Hubbard of Williamsburg; nieces and nephews, Bailee Jarboe, Kailee Jarboe, Chaz Jarboe, Chaynee Jarboe, Maddox Hubbard and Zander Hubbard; special caregivers, Lisa Steely, Brittany Troxell and Aunt Linda Hubbard; beloved pet, Jake Jarboe; several aunts and uncles; and a host of family and friends to mourn her passing.

The funeral service was held Tuesday, February 6, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Gray, Rev. James Hodge, Rev. Gary Lovitt and Bro. David Duke Jarboe officiating.

Following the service she was laid to rest in the Cumberland Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
