Francis L. Rains

Francis L. Rains, 66, of Williamsburg, passed away Friday February 2, 2018 at U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. She was born April 23, 1951 in Williamsburg, to the late Frank Morgan and Gladys Cox.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Barton Rains and a great granddaughter Taylor Rains.

She is survived by three children; Teresa Lawson (Larry) of Williamsburg, Brenda Collins (Jackie) of Corbin, Norma Lawson (Charles) of Williamsburg, eight grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; two sisters, Dora Sutton of Corbin, Louetta Bryant of Williamsburg; 6 brothers, Bill Thornton, Jim Thornton, John Thornton, Richard Cox, Frank Morgan and Terry Wallace all of Williamsburg, several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

The funeral service was held Monday, February 5, at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chuckie Evans officiating.

Interment was in Highland Cemetery.
