Dennis Clifford Young Sr.

Dennis Clifford Young Sr., 66, of Watts Creek, Williamsburg, departed this life on Monday, December 11, 2017 at his home.

He was born on May 17, 1952 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Lawrence Young and Norma (Hadley) Young.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Young, Albert Young and Mike Young;sisters, Sharon Henson and Carlyn Young and a nephew, Robert Young. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served in Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie (Anderson) Young of Williamsburg; two daughters, Amy Young (Josh Schilt) of Defiance, OH and Amanda Young (Tony Partin) of Williamsburg; two sons, Dennis C. Young (Amber Allen) of Corbin and Joshua Young of Williamsburg; three grandchildren, Raina Partin, Lyric Young and Eli Partin; two sisters, Lucille Young (Robert Taylor) of Corbin and Sally Noe (Arthur) of Beattyville; brother, Bill Young of Cincinnati, OH; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members and friends who mourn his passing.

The funeral service was held Friday, December 15, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Lester officiating.

Following the service he was laid to rest in the Maple Creek Cemetery.

Military graveside honors were conducted by the American Legion Post #88 of Corbin.
