Dorothy Spurlock Blevins

Dorothy Spurlock Blevins, 92 of Corbin, passed away Friday December 1, 2017 at the Heritage in Corbin.

She was born November 27, 1925 in Hima, KY to the late Matt and Kittie Hurley Spurlock. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by husband Olan Blevins, son-in-law Ron Lanham and sister Mary Lewis.

She is survived by three daughters; Margaret Tilley (Ken) of North Olmsted, OH, Sylvia Wagner (G.A.) of North Ridgeville, OH, Beulah Barnett (Willis) of Corbin; son; Gary Blevins (Rita) of Parma, Ohio; 13 grandchildren Theresa McKinney (Johnny), Shela Watson (Kenneth), Larry Lanham (Amy), Gary Lanham (Kelly), Barbara Beres (Shawn), Eric Wagner (Elisa), Laura Fredle (Dave), Kimberly Tilley, Jennifer Goskey (Geoff), Jonathan Blevins (Erica), Janis Blevins (Justin), Jarrett Blevins (Jessica), Eric Barnett (Lacey), 17 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services were held Sunday, December 3, at Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Hodge and Bro. Vernon Jones officiating. Interment was at Lakewood Park Cemetery in Rocky River, OH.
