Georgia Pauline “Polly” Widener

Georgia Pauline “Polly” Widener, 86, of Jellico, TN passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Huntsville Manor in Huntsville, TN.

She was born April 13, 1931 in Eagan, TN.

Polly is preceded in death by a daughter, Anna Mary England Wilson; father, Robert Edgar Widener; mother, Clara Fox Widener Douglas; brothers, Carl Widener, Bill Widener, Bruce Widener; sister, Jean Widener Andrews.

She is survived by her daughters, Larry Geraldine “Penny” Smith Calvin, Katherine Louise Smith Stevens; grandchildren: Ted Danny Roberts, Faith Wilson Marlow, Rebecca Stevens Ivey; four great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Dorce Andrews and Valarie Benzinger; Longtime friends and nurses, Darlene Muse, Pam Bray, Beth Anderson; longtime friends and caregivers, Vickie Stephens, Kathy Ivey, ​Sharon Hamlin; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.

Funeral services were held October 12 at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. James Hackler officiating.

Burial was held Friday, October 13, in the Douglas Cemetery (Wooldridge Community).
