Mary Catherine Queen

Mary Catherine Queen, 69, of Corbin, passed away on Friday January 20, 2017 at Baptist Health in Corbin.

She was born in Corbin, to the late Woodrow Perry and Mary Melinda White Moore.

Mary was the Coordinator for the Food and Nutrition Department at Baptist Health in Corbin and she previously worked at the old Corbin Hospital.

She was an extremely dedicated employee who retired this month after nearly 40 years of service at both hospitals.

Mary is survived by her children; Jerry Perry, Danny Perry, and Lisa Farris; grandchildren; Ashley Perry, Jessica Allen (Scotty), Danielle Pebley (Cory), Katie Pebley (Codi), Taylor Brooke Perry, John Travis Farris, Steven Ryan Farris, and Holly Wagers; eleven great grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Collier, Carolyn Koi, Judy Wilder, and Elizabeth Moore; half brothers, Mark and Jason Perry, and half sister, Traci Perry; and by her former husband, John Glen Queen.

Funeral service for Mary Queen will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Johnson and Rev. Rob Akers officiating.

Burial will follow in the Queen Cemetery in Lily.
