Howard Leslie Young

Howard Leslie Young, 85, of Williamsburg, departed this life on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at the Williamsburg Health and Rehab Center.

He was born on April 1, 1931 in Williamsburg, to the late John Young and Lucy (Conley) Young.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, William Paul Young and Arlis Young, formerly of Cincinnati, OH.
Howard attended Mt. Ash Baptist Church.

He is survived by two sons, Leslie Young and Ronald Young of Michigan; two sisters, Thelma Wright (Kenneth) of Cincinnati, OH and Phyllis Sharp (William) of Newport; four brothers, John Young (Vivian) of Florence,  Robert Young (Florence) of Michigan, Edward Young (Bobbie) of Williamsburg and George Young (Joy) of Cincinnati, OH; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

The funeral service was held Saturday, November 19, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Carpenter officiating.

He was laid to rest in the Moses Addition of Pleasant View Cemetery.
