R.L. Davis

R.L. Davis, 64, of Eagan, TN passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN.

He was born May 10, 1952 in Middlesboro, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kala and Edith Davis; brother, Rufus Davis; sister, Lucille Partin.

He is survived by two sons, Eric Hurst and Barbara, Anthony Hurst and Crytal; daughter, Nancy Hurst and Willis; stepchildren, Judy Gulley, Peggy Lambdin, J.B. Sharp, David Sharp, Sherry Gulley; twenty one grandchildren and two great grandchildren; brothers, Speed Davis, Lonnie Davis; sisters, Martha Edwards, Dorothy Davis, Ellen Hamblin; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.

The funeral was held Monday, October 24, at the Valley Creek Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Lee Mahan and Rev. Truman Partin officiating.
Burial was in Hatfield Cemetery at Valley Creek.
