Central 53, Graves County 51
The best game of the tournament so far. With the game tied 51-51 Alex Morrison hit a basket with :17 left. Graves County had the ball with the opportunity to tie but Ridge Wilson, the Player of the game stole the ball with eight seconds left.
An errant pass nearly caught the Yellow Jackets off-guard when Tevin Hill stole the ball and raced down the court with time running out. He tried a desperation shot that missed.
Wilson led the Jackets with 16 points while Morrison added 11 points. Hill led Graves County with 18 points.
Graves County trailed 30-17 at the half but, came on strong in the third quarter to outscore the Louisville team, 25-7. The Eagles shot 60 percent in the second half.
Note: I’m glad Central won, it was just about as enjoyable watching the Central cheering section than it was the game.
