Gabbard-Sparks to wed

Terry and Sharon Gabbard, of London, wish to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Tera Suzanne Gabbard, to Michael Jeffrey Sparks, the son of Mike and Margaret Sparks, of Corbin.

Tera is the granddaughter of Amanda Bruner and the late Jim Bruner of London, and Ruth Gabbard and the late Vernon Gabbard of East Bernstadt. Jeff is the grandson of Betty Tipton and the late Beverly Tipton of Ravenna, the late Carolyn Rose Jones and Dalton Jones of Richmond and the late Wallace Don Sparks of Sandgap.

Tera is a 2001 graduate of North Laurel High School and a 2005 graduate of Georgetown College. She is also a 2009 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy where she received a degree of Doctor of Pharmacy. Tera is currently employed as a pharmacist for Kroger.

Jeff is a 2001 graduate of Corbin High School and a 2005 graduate of Georgetown College.  He is currently serving as Youth Minister for Sand Spring Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg, Ky.

The wedding ceremony will take place Saturday, August 29, at New Salem Baptist Church in London, with a reception following at the London Community Center.  Formal invitations have been sent.
