Fine Arts Association of Southeastern Kentucky, Inc. presents Mac Frampton and The ThreePenny Symphony

 The Fine Arts Association of Southeastern Kentucky, Inc. presents Mac Frampton & The ThreePenny Symphony Friday, Sept. 18, 2009, 7:30 p.m. at Grace on the Hill United Methodist Church in Corbin, Ky.

At first glance, they look like just another chamber music ensemble. Indeed, the opening numbers is a verbatim rendering of a familiar Bach Prelude. But then the fireworks begin and classical music may never be the same! From the William Tell Overture to Ravel’s Bolero, every piece this ensemble touches springs to new contemporary life and proves that great music can successfully cross that mystical line that separates “legit” and pop. It’s “classical music with an attitude.”
