   Saddened to hear the news of your surgery. Prognosis is good I surmise. I survived prostate cancer 15 years ago and doing fine, and have come to love medical science which is imroving every day. Sincere best wishes.

   Don, this is the first I’ve heard of your health situation. Pootie must be asleep on the job. Very, very pleased to know that the prognosis is good and that you caught it in early stages. Also glad to see the communication from Chalk. He’s very active on the ‘net but did not mention your situation. Keep the faith, take good care of yourself, and keep up the excellent work with this newspaper.

   HEARD RECENTLY ABOUT YOUR SURGERY. GLAD TO HEAR YOU ARE RECOVERING. YOU HAVE BEEN IN MY PRAYERS AND WILL CONTINUE PRAYING FOR YOUR HEALTH. GOD IS GOOD…I HAD A KIDNEY REMOVED IN 1989 WITH A CANCEROUS GROWTH AND HAD NO PROBLEMS GET BETTER AND ILL SEE YOU AT A GAME. YOUR FRIEND CHALK
