West Knox Firefighters were called to the Discount Tobacco Patch on U.S. 25 in north Corbin about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday night after several passers-by reported smoke pouring from the building.
Firefighters quickly knocked down a few small flames seen coming out of the building and then forced their way inside to extinguish the blaze.
No one was inside the building at the time. The store is owned by Joe Emerson.
