18-year-old Whitley Jail inmate found dead Friday morning

An 18-year-old Whitley County Detention Center inmate died early Friday morning, but no foul play is suspected, according to Whitley County Coroner Andy Croley.
Croley officially pronounced Bobby Arron Hubbard, 18, of Woodbine, dead at 6:47 a.m. at Baptist Regional Medical Center.
"He was found dead by one of the deputy jailers. They last spoke to him at 5:25 a.m. At 5:31 a.m., they went back and he was unresponsive and coding as they stated," Croley said.
Whitley County EMS transported him to the hospital where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival, Croley noted.
"He had no trauma to the body. He was in a cell by himself. There wasn’t any contact with any other inmates," Croley said. "An autopsy has been performed. At this point, the cause of death is still pending further investigation, but no suspicious circumstances or foul play is suspected."
Hubbard had been lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center since Feb. 26, for possession of drug paraphernalia, non-payment of fines, and failure to appear.
Croley said that drug involvement isn’t suspected as the initial cause of death.
"I’m sure it will be a contributing cause of his death due to drug abuse in the past. The initial cause of death would not be drug related just a contributing cause of long term drug use," he said.
The incident is under investigation by Croley and the Whitley County Detention Center.

how many people have died in that jail now
The jail has lied about everything. I know 1st hand.
He begged to be took to the hospital but was put in the hole. He was coughing blood severly which tells you he was hemering. The nurse wasn’t there till after he died. He died at 6 pm. The nurse didn’t show up till well after he was dead. Around 9-9:30 pm. She was there a few minutes every few days. He didn’t die at the hospital. He was done dead there.
I know the witnesses and guards working. I was there. Who do I tell I can’t tell no one in whitley!!
me and bobby grew up together and i cant get ahold of his mom or sister so it wld be great to get the whole story. It wld be greatly appreciated that anyone with more info plz contact me thank you

I was lodged in this same jail for 18 months. There m,ust be an outside investigation. The FBI, Kenyucky State Police, or an outside agency. This jail is croocked horrifying. An 18 year old boy just doesnt fall over dead. Maybe we should look at the jailer Ken Mobley or the Cheif Deputy Jailer Bob O’neil like we should have looked at Mr. Jerry Davis our old Road Supervisor. This is not a accident. If the right people will investigate it citizens will see this 18 year old boys death was not an accident!!!!!!!!!!!!
