Lamkin-Dixon announce forthcoming marriage

Miss Kayla Marie Lamkin and Mr. Cody Wayne Dixon, along with their parents, are pleased to announce their forthcoming marriage. 

Kayla is the daughter of Steve and Sharon Root of Corbin and the late Howard Lamkin of Somerset and the granddaughter of Phyllis and the late Tom Lamkin of Somerset, Phyllis and the late Benny Campbell of Barbourville, and Larry and Juiwana Root of Corbin. She is a 2008 graduate of Corbin High School and is currently a student at Eastern Kentucky University majoring in Mathematics/Education.  She is employed by Hometown Bank.

Cody is the son of Clyde and Terri Dixon and grandson of Wayne and Bonnie Dixon and the late William E. (Bill) and the late Gladys Shotwellm, all of Corbin. Cody is a 2010 graduate of Asbury University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education. The couple plan to reside in Corbin.

The wedding will be on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at Grace on the Hill Church in Corbin. A reception immediately following the ceremony will be held at the church.  

All friends and family are invited to attend.
