If you bid a combined package, you must also bid the package individually.
There are major material items within certain bid divisions listed above, which will bid through the respective Contractor, but purchased directly by the Whitley County Board of Education. Interested material suppliers should contact the Construction Manager, Branscum Construction Company, Inc., for the names of Contractors who have expressed interest in the Bid Packages involved. Each Contractor must note that the Material Supplier Authorization letter (included with the Form of Proposal) for each supplier must be filled out, executed by the supplier, and submitted as part of the Bid, or within 24 hours or bids will be invalidated.
Bids MUST be submitted in triplicate. Bids must be submitted in the Bid Envelope supplied by the Construction Manager. If bids are to be mailed, enclose CM Envelope within Bidder’s Envelope and address to: Whitley County Board of Education, 300 Main Street, Williamsburg, KY 40769-1124, ATTN: Lonnie Anderson, Superintendent
In the lower left corner of mailing envelope, add wording that a bid is enclosed for the WHITLEY COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL ADDITION & RENOVATION. Bids must be delivered to the address above prior to bid time.
Branscum Construction Company, Inc. is the Construction Manager for this project, acting as agent for the Owner, and acting in the Owner’s behalf in soliciting proposals. Each successful bidder will execute a contract directly with the Owner and not with the Construction Manager.
