Two busted for making meth at Corbin hotel
Corbin Police arrested Paul W. Brown, 37, of Corbin and Daniel L. Snead, 19, of Corbin Wednesday afternoon for allegedly making methamphetamine at the Holiday Motel in Corbin.
According to Corbin Police Captain Rob Jones officers learned of the situation from a confidential informant. Based on that information, officers secured a search warrant for the room. Inside, officers found an undisclosed amount of finished meth along with coffee filters, salt Drano, aluminum foil, stir sticks, lithium batteries and, what Sgt. Glenn Taylor described as a, "bottle cap with a hole in the center.
Jones said these items are consistent with those used to manufacture methamphetamine.
Snead and Brown were arrested on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine.
They remain in the Whitley County Detention Center without bond.
Taylor was assisted at the scene by Maj. David Maiden, Sgt. Robbie Hodge, K-9 Officer Coy Wilson Patrolman Kirk Mays.
