Rockholds man arrested after home invasion
Jake Messer of Rockholds was arrested Tuesday morning in connection with a home invasion on Bear Hollow Road.
According to Kentucky State Police, troopers were dispatched about 12:30 a.m. in response to a report of robbery. They determined that a male subject had entered the residence armed with a firearm and took an undisclosed amount of money and prescription medication from the residents.
The investigation led troopers to Messer, 27, who was arrested and charged with first-degree robbery, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center.
Troopers reported that while there were two females in the home at the time, neither was injured.
