Man accused of shooting two people in Woodbine captured in Knoxville, Tenn.

A man accused of shooting two people in a remote section of Woodbine in Knox County Tuesday has been captured in Tennessee.
According to Trooper Walt Meachum, public affairs officer at Post 10 in Harlan, James Bargo, 57, was arrested for criminal impersonation and drug charges by the Knoxville, Tenn. Police Department today. He has been lodged in the Knox County, Tenn. Detention Center pending extradition back to Kentucky to answer to charges of robbery and two counts of first-degree assault.
Law enforcement has been searching Bargo after he allegedly shot Charity Carter, 30, of Woodbine, and Harold Croley, 60, of Corbin, while they were parked in a vehicle in a wooded area off of Hedden Lane near the Knox/Whitley County line Tuesday afternoon. Police suspect the shooting was the result of a domestic dispute.
Carter was able to make her way to the road where a passer-by saw her and called 911.
Both Carter and Croley were flown to the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington for treatment. They are still recovering from their injuries.
