Corbin check cashing store robbed Wednesday morning
Corbin police are investigating a Wednesday morning robbery at a check cashing business in the Trademart Shopping Center.
According to Corbin Chief of Police David Campbell, at about 10:12 a.m., a man walked into Check Into Cash and demanded money. He told workers there he was armed with a weapon, but did not show it to them.
After taking a small amount of cash, witnesses told police the man fled on foot. He is described as a white male with a dark complexion, over 6-0 tall, with scruffy facial hair. He was wearing a plain gray hoodie with the hood pulled over his head, and blue jeans.
