Hart reinstated as Corbin High School softball coach Monday

After briefly being relieved of his duties as Corbn High School softball coach last week, Chris Hart has been reinstated and will resume his coaching duties this week, according to Corbin Independent Schools Superintendent Ed McNeel.

McNeel confirmed the move Monday afternoon following his own investigation into events that happened during the softball team’s recent trip to Fort Walton Beach, Fla. over Spring Break. The team posted a 1-3 record during the trip. McNeel’s inquiry focused on the conduct of some students during the trip. Hart was not implicated in any wrongdoing.

Hart has served as head coach of the team since 2007.
