Sheiriff’s Dept. seeks W’burg man on theft related charges

The Whitley County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a Williamsburg man, who is wanted on two outstanding warrants.

Whitley County Sheriff Colan Harrell said his department is searching for Jessie Ray Terry, 37, who at one time resided in the Highway 92 West area.

Terry is about 6’4" tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Harrell said that Terry is wanted on Whitley County charges of receiving stolen property over $500 and theft by deception over $500.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department at 549-6006 during normal business hours, or the Whitley County 911 Dispatch Center on evenings and weekends at 549-6017.

Harrell said that any help from the public in locating Terry would be appreciated.
