W’burg police arrest two Ohio residents for trying to steal $1,500 worth of DVDs from Wal-Mart
Two Ohio residents allegedly used a motorized cart in an attempt to steal $1,554 worth of DVD movies from the Williamsburg Walmart early Wednesday morning.
Williamsburg Police Sgt. Mike Taylor charged both Nava Gilory and Tiffany M. Davis, both of Dayton, with theft by unlawful taking over $500.
About 4 a.m., Taylor responded to a complaint about shoplifters in the store.
"When the pair entered the Williamsburg Walmart Davis used a handicap power assisted cart while Gilory walked with her," Williamsburg Police Chief Wayne Bird wrote in a press release.
"The two used a black duffel bag and concealed various DVD movies inside the bag. Davis then placed the bag on the handicap cart and concealed the bag under her dress."
The two were arrested without incident and lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center.

These idiots did it to themselves, not many people who are disabled go out at 4am to shop. I am sure that Walmart employees got suspicious as soon as they started wheeling around the store. Glad they got busted, prices go up when stores lose revenue from theft. No kidding…
