Corbin Mayor Willard McBurney said Friday that Main Street will be reduced to one lane, between Fourth Street and Roy Kidd Ave., beginning 5:00 a.m. Monday morning so that road crews can begin milling and fixing curbing in handicap parking areas.
Parking on Main in the work wlll not be allowed after 8:00 p.m. Sunday in preparation for the project.
McBurney said the milling and paving will take place in phases. Once finished with the stretch from Fourth to Roy Kidd Ave., crews will then start working their way back to south Main Street.
