FRIDAY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS
The Bell County Bobcats scored the game’s only touchdown in the final 16 seconds to beat the Corbin Redhounds in a big district showdown on Log Mountain Friday night.
It was a defensive battle from the get-go as Corbin turned back the Bobcats twice in the first half and once in the second before a pass ended at the one-yard line with :30 left in the game. It was on Bell County’s second play that saw the Bobcats get the win.
The loss means baring a major upset next week, the Redhounds will hit the road for the second-year in a row for the playoffs.
