Wilma McKeehan Faulkner
Wilma McKeehan Faulkner, age 93, of Williamsburg, KY, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024 at the Williamsburg Nursing Home with her family by her side.
Many of us will remember Wilma as determined and busy. If she set her mind to something the world had better get out of her way. Whether it be golf, tennis, gardening, or cooking she gave it her best. She strived for improvement and if you weren’t careful, she’d happily help you to improve as well, often convincing you it was your idea. You never knew what hit you…she was that good. Her love language was food and she loved to share it with family and friends.
First Baptist Church of Williamsburg was very dear to Wilma’s heart. She deeply loved her Ladies Sunday School Class.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, Leander and Mamie McKeehan; her husband, Harold Faulkner; two brothers, Bill (Freddie), and Lowell (Maggie); one sister, Azelene Teague (Elmer); and brother-in-law, Jim McCormick.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Shelby (Bryan) and Debbie Jo Jeffries (Johnny); grandchildren, Kimberly, John Christopher, Melissa, Aaron, and Steven; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Joy McCormick; several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Monday, July 1, at the First Baptist Church of Williamsburg with Rev. Jeremy Shannon and Rev. Randall Davenport officiating.
Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery Davis Addition.
