Eastern Kentucky University announces Fall 2023 graduate list
Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) recognized graduates from its six academic colleges during Fall 2023 commencement ceremonies, which were held on Dec. 2 at Baptist Health Arena at Alumni Coliseum.
“You have set yourselves apart, marking a milestone that will not only shape your own lives but will leave a lasting impact on those around you and generations to come,” said EKU President David McFaddin during the Fall 2023 graduation ceremony.
“This unique quality is what defines us as the school of opportunity. The diplomas you hold in your hands will create a ripple effect, opening doors to opportunities that might otherwise remain closed. Graduates of EKU, you are the embodiment of the values and teachings of this institution. As you venture into the world, equipped with your talents and skills, you will undoubtedly make a difference in communities that await your impact.”

Of EKU’s Fall 2023 graduating class, 43 percent were the first in their families to obtain a college degree. Six months after graduation, EKU graduates report an average salary of $50,000 a year. The degree programs with the most graduates included psychology, criminal justice, social work, nursing and occupational safety.
