UPDATE: KSP releases name of suspect in Sat. shooting in Gray

Kentucky State Police has released the name of the suspect being sought in connection to a shooting incident that occurred Saturday in the Gray community of Knox County.
KSP Trooper Shane Jacobs posted to his official Facebook account Saturday evening, saying:
Kentucky State Police has an active warrant for Donald Napier, 39 years old for two counts of assault first degree. He is described as a white male, 5’10’’, 140 pounds, brown eyes and brown hair. If anyone has information on his whereabouts, your urged to contact Law Enforcement immediately.
ORIGINAL: Two individuals were shot in the Gray community of Knox County Saturday, and Kentucky State Police are searching for a person of interest.
KSP Trooper Shane Jacobs has released the following information concerning the incident:
On December 23, 2023 at approximately 11:15 AM, Kentucky State Police responded to a shooting complaint at Lynn Camp School Hollow Road in the Gray community of Knox County.
Initial investigation indicates that two individuals were shot while sitting in a vehicle at a residence. Both were later flown to University of Tennessee Medical Center for their injuries.
No arrests have been made at this time, however KSP is attempting to locate a person of interest. This is felt to be an isolated event and the public is not in any danger.
