The following cases were heard by Judge Fred White in Whitley County District Court on May 20:
Andrew G. Hill, born in 1992 – 2018 misdemeanor case dismissed, completed diversion terms successfully.
James McCullough, born in 1969, improper registration plate – $25 fine plus court costs.
Nitisha McCullough, born in 1993, license not in possession – $25 fine plus court costs, credit time served for costs.
Autumn M. McKiddy – motion for expungement in 2014 misdemeanor case granted.
Acevedo Javier Morales, born in 2000, failure to produce vehicle insurance card –$50 fine plus court costs.
David Jimenez Morales, born in 1986, improper registration plate – $50 fine plus court costs.
Betty Lou Payne, born in 1959, theft-shoplifting under $500 – six-month jail sentence probated for two years, credit 20 days already served, court costs, credit time served for costs.
Jessica Brooke Phillips, born in 1981, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, operator’s license suspended for 30 days, attend alcohol and drug education classes, $200 fine plus fees and costs.
Judy Short, born in 1974, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, possession of marijuana – 90-day jail sentenced probated for two years, operator’s license suspended for 30 days, attend alcohol and drug education classes, $200 fine plus fees and costs.
Joshua A. Stephens, born in 1983, giving officer false identifying information – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, court costs.
Dustin Lee Sumner, born in 1991, failure to wear seatbelts, failure to produce vehicle insurance card – $50 fine plus court costs.
Eddie Ivan West, born in 1974, improper equipment – $25 fine plus court costs.
Jason A. Kersey, born in 1986, fourth-degree assault domestic violence no visible injury – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years after first nine months are served, plus court costs.
Jonathan R. Perkins, born in 1987, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, no auto insurance, leaving scene of an accident – 12-month jail sentence probated for two years, operator’s license suspended for 30 days, attend alcohol and drug education classes, $325 fine plus fees and costs, pay restitution if there is any.
Dennis K. Gann, born in 1970, alcohol intoxication – $25 fine plus court costs.
Tyler K. Gann, born in 1992, alcohol intoxication – $25 fine plus court costs.
Angie Mae Jones, born in 1977, public intoxication controlled substance excludes alcohol – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, $50 fine plus court costs.
Sandra Knuckles, born in 1975, public intoxication controlled substance excludes alcohol – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, $50 fine plus court costs.
Andrew Dewayne Lemmings, born in 1978, no auto insurance – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, $50 fine plus court costs.
Dana Rhineheimer, born in 1980, third-degree criminal trespassing – $25 fine plus court costs.
Stanley W. Troxell, born in 1963, possession of marijuana – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, $50 fine plus court costs.

Aaron M. Nelson, born in 1990, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs – 30-day jail sentence probated for two years, operator’s license suspended for 30 days, attend alcohol and drug education classes, $200 fine plus fees and costs.
The following cases were heard by Judge Fred White in Whitley County District Court on May 28:
Ravon Tupac Tyeshawn Briggs, born in 1996, second-degree fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest – 12-month jail sentence conditionally discharged for two years, plus court costs, credit time served for costs.
Ronald Anderson, born in 1986, operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license, no auto insurance – 90-day jail sentence conditionally discharged for two years, $525 fine.
Tina King, born in 1971, contempt of court – probated time revoked, five-month jail sentence.
Jessica Smith, born in 1993, receiving stolen property under $500 – June 10 sentencing hearing set.
The following cases were heard by Judge Fred White in Whitley County District Court on May 30:
Brian Carroll, born in 1986, operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, $100 fine plus court costs.
Roxanne Harvey, born in 1972, no/expired registration plates, no auto insurance, operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, $150 fine plus court costs.
Joshua Allen Jones, born in 1982, operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license – 90-day jail sentence probated for two years, $25 fine plus court costs.
Thomas Leach, born in 2000, fourth-degree assault dating violence, resisting arrest, second-degree disorderly conduct – June 10 sentencing hearing.
