28th ANNUAL CFIT

The final day of the Cumberland Falls Invitational is set. The Scott County Cardinals and Evangel Christian of Louisiana, will play for the 28th tournament title at 9:15 p.m.
The Cardinals defeated the Lee (Ala.) Generals in a high-scoring showdown Wednesday night, 90-85.
Junior guards Isaiah Ivey and Tamron Manning led the Cardinals with 24 and 23 points respectively. Strickland led the Generals with 28 points.
The Corbin Redhounds will take on the Generals in the third place game at 7:30. Corbin (6-2) lost to the Eagles of Evangel Christian, 52-48. Trent Taylor, whose father, Greg, played for the Redhounds led his team with 20 points.
Junior Zack Farley led the Redhounds with 14 points while senior Travis Smith added 11 points.
Williamsburg picked up its second win of the season with a 66-56 decision over the Pontotoc (Miss) Warriors. Senior Jared Barton led the Yellow Jackets with 21 points while freshman Skylar Griffith tossed in 17 points and sophomore Dalton Sizemore added 16 points.
Williamsburg will meet Jackson County in the fourth place game at 5:45 p.m. This will be the second meeting of the two teams this month. Jackson County won a 56-54 thriller at Williamsburg, Dec. 1. The Generals (5-4) defeated Blue Ridge (SC) Monday in a consolation bracket game.
The first game of the day will be for 7th place as Blue Ridge meets Pontotoc at 4 p.m.
