13-year-old severly injured after falling out of vehicle near Corbin

A 13-year-old local child was severely injured today after falling out of a vehicle on a Corbin roadway.
Authorities say the child, whose identity is not yet know, fell out of a vehicle as it was traveling down Cecil Wyatt Road near Corbin. Volunteers from Oak Grove Fire Department were on the scene as well as Whitley County EMS. The child was transported by ambulance to the Corbin Motor Speedway before being airlifted by helicopter to a regional hospital for treatment.
