The Corbin Redhounds jumped out to an early lead against Harlan County in Monday night’s 13th Region championship game at the Corbin Arena, but in the end the Black Bears punched their tickets to Rupp Arena with a 62-48 win.

The Corbin Redhounds faced the Harlan County Black Bears Thursday evening in the first round of the boys’ 13th Region tournament. Much of the game was a defensive battle, but in the end the Hounds were able to advance with a 61-53 win.

The Whitley County Colonels will head back on the road Friday night to Harlan County still seeking the first win of the Coach Zeke Eier era and some redemption following the 45-0 loss to Corbin. The Colonels’ offense was held to 140 total yards, turning the ball over three times...
