Next week, the first-ever Borderline Classic is set to tip off at Whitley County High School and the University of the Cumberlands. For three straight days, teams from Kentucky, Tennessee and Florida will compete with each other in JV and varsity boys high school basketball action.

After their big win over Harlan County in the opening round of the 2023 13th Region tournament Thursday, the Corbin Redhounds were back in action Saturday, taking on the Barbourville Tigers in semifinal round action.

The Corbin Redhounds faced the Harlan County Black Bears Thursday evening in the first round of the boys’ 13th Region tournament. Much of the game was a defensive battle, but in the end the Hounds were able to advance with a 61-53 win.
