As you may have already noticed by looking elsewhere in this week’s edition, this is National Newspaper Week. As it turns out, it is also National 4-H Week.

Whitley County High School is staying on the cutting edge when it comes to agricultural education thanks to an all-new, 2,000-square-foot hydroponic greenhouse facility that is slated to be fully operational this fall.

Kyle Hubbs is a Supervisor on the Knox County Kentucky Farm Bureau board, and he also serves as a Knox County Soil Conservation Supervisor.
