Beginning today I will put my weekend picks on our website for the fans to see and tell you who are panel picked as well.
The Williamsburg Yellow Jackets turned in another dominating performance last week as they rolled past the Pineville Mountain Lions, 40-0 in the first game of the City/County Bowl at Middlesboro.
The Corbin Redhounds will not get much time to celebrate their victory over the Lexington Tates Creek Commodores Friday night, 21-14, because the Danville Admirals are coming to town.
Typically, when the Redhounds and Tates Creek get together the outcome has been most often a tossup, with the Redhounds winning one, the Commodores winning one. This year, it was the Redhounds who came away with a 21-14 win.
Corbin 21, Tates Creek 14
Williamsburg 40, Pineville 0
Rockcastle Co. 36, Whitley Co. 3

The Whitley County Colonels evened their boys’ soccer record at 3-3 Monday with a dominating performance over the Perry Central Commodores, 6-2.
