UPDATE
Williamsburg Police have released the name of a Whitley County Detention Center inmate, who allegedly assaulted five employees during an incident Thursday morning. Williamsburg Police Department Public Affairs Officer Steven Hill said that the man in question is Dylan Knuckles, 22.
So far no charges have been filed in connection with the incident, but Hill noted that Knuckles “will be charged.”
Hill said that it is unclear at this point whether Knuckles, who was apparently brought in by probation and parole officers, will be charged in the near future in connection with the assault, or whether investigators will wait and present the case directly to the Whitley County Grand Jury.
He is expected to face five counts of second-degree assault in connection with the attack.
