Kentucky State Police were searching for two suspected meth makers at a home in Keavy Saturday morning and found 478 cans of beer and bottles of whiskey, vodka and wine.
Two Corbin men have been arrested in connection with a burglary Tuesday morning at a home on Echo Valley Road in Lily in which about $3,000 worth of jewelry and a .32-caliber handgun were taken.
Whitley County’s Aaron Back was so closed to his dream of a state championship, he could taste it. The senior advanced to the Kentucky High School Wrestling Tournament with an unbeaten record.
Although Whitley County finished in the top ten of the state high school wrestling tournament Coach Dusty Brown wasn’t extremely happy with the results.
In my memory, I cannot recall a more wide-open quest for the 13th region championship than this season of 2010–11.
