I made my annual Spring Break trip to Florida last week. Four area teams also made the trip south.

My calendar tells me we are through with high school basketball and college basketball.
Pardon my French, but it’s a pain in the hiney to try to discuss a billing problem over the phone these days.
On Saturday, April 21 the annual Laurel Lake Cleanup will take place at the Laurel River Dam from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The beach at the dam will serve as the event staging area.
Filmmakers are hoping to fill the seats at Corbin's Campbell field Saturday for scenes in a movie based on the life of former local football player Travis Freeman, who went blind while in middle school but was able to play for the Redhound varsity team at age 17.
