Deputies were called to the scene off of East Ky. 1223 about 1:40 p.m. in response to a fight complaint. Acciardo stated that an investigation by Deputies Josh Scott and Brandon Broughton indicated that Vandemark and his brother had been in a fight when Vandemark jumped into a vehicle and attempted to strike his brother. Vandemark was taken into custody and lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Facility. Vandemark is scheduled to return to Laurel District Court Tuesday for a preliminary hearing to determine whether there is probable cause to present the case to a grand jury. Vandemark has been released from jail on a $2,500 surety bond."}
