At the chef\u2019s training the students learned safety and sanitation when working with food, as well as specific knife cutting skills. The group also worked one-on-one with Sullivan University\u2019s trained chefs to improve their culinary skills before the state competition. The Roasting Redhounds are set to compete in the Kentucky State Sweet 16 Junior Chef Competition at the State Fair on August 17th at 9 a.m. The Roasting Redhounds Team members include Ken Trudelle, Makenzie Belew, and Sarah Sawyers.\u00a0 Their coach is Jessica Lester."}
