Laura Colley, 30, of Hickory Nut Road in Nancy, went to Cumberland Falls Auto on US Hwy 25 south of Corbin around 12:30 p.m. where she told the business owner she was looking for a car. According to the business owner, she chose a black 2005 Chevrolet Equinox for a test drive. The problem was, she never came back. Sergeant Jeff Anderson responded to the call from the business owner that Colley had never returned. Upon arrival, he conducted an investigation and learned that the white 1994 Nissan she left behind was reported stolen to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department on July 12. Sergeant Anderson obtained an arrest warrant for Colley for theft by unlawful taking of an automobile. There is also an active warrant for Colley’s arrest in Pulaski County. Sheriff Colan Harrell stated Colley is a Caucasian woman who is 5’2” tall, around 130lbs, with hazel eyes and blonde hair. He says she is also know to use the aliases “Laura Howell” and “Laura McDowan.” When Colley stole the black SUV, it had a Kentucky license plate that read X7509B. The Whitley County Sheriff’s department asks that anyone with information regarding Colley’s whereabouts or the stolen vehicle to please call Whitley County E911 at 606-549-6017."}
