Kentucky State Police Trooper Scott Bunch arrested James Daryl Gipson, 37, of Highway 204, at 9:57 a.m. charging him with second-degree burglary, first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree criminal trespass and public intoxication controlled substance excludes alcohol. The alleged burglary happened at the Highway 511 property of Russell Mayne. \u201cThe property owner caught Mr. Gipson in the building and detained him until I arrived,\u201d Bunch wrote on the arrest citation. The citation also alleged that Gipson trespassed on private property, entered a building and removed and damaged items in addition to damaging a truck belonging to the property owner. Gipson pleaded not guilty during his arraignment Monday afternoon in Whitley District Court. Judge Fred White appointed the public advocate\u2019s office to represent Gipson, scheduled a May 8 preliminary hearing in his case and set a $10,000 cash bond."}
