Medical Center in Knoxville. She was born August 17, 1932 in Eagan, TN. She was a long-time and active member of First Baptist Church of Jellico and shared her love of music as a member of the church choir.\u00a0 She enjoyed providing many social activities for the seniors at church, The Young at Heart.\u00a0 For many years, she and others from the church provided a Sunday morning devotion at the Towers in Jellico. Patsy not only loved to serve in her church but she served her community as well.\u00a0 She and a group of citizens saw the need to provide assistance for those suffering from cancer. Patsy helped to organize a chapter of the Campbell County Cancer Association and always remained as an active member. Patsy was instrumental in forming the Campbell County Republican Women\u2019s Association, where she had held office and had remained as an active member. She served as election commissioner for the Fifth District of Campbell County for twenty-four years.\u00a0 She taught in the Campbell County School system for over thirty years. In 2012, Patsy went to Nashville, TN to be awarded The Governor\u2019s Volunteer Star Award in recognition of her outstanding volunteer service in Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her husband, Craig Teague; father, William Henry Maiden, Sr.; mother, Geneva Jaynes Maiden; brother, W.H. \u201cJune Bug\u201d Maiden, Jr.; special nephew: \u200bJohn Russell Miller. She is survived by brothers, Ray Maiden and wife Brenda; Robert Maiden and wife Sue; sister-in-law: Georgia Maiden; nieces, Carolyn Gilliam and husband Pete, Terri Maiden, Kim Bryant and husband Tony, Deana Barton and husband Wayne; nephew, Andy Bill Maiden; several great and great great nieces and nephews, and a host of friends and family to mourn her passing. Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church in Jellico with Rev. Doug Clem and Dr. Robert Dunston officiating. Burial was in the Jellico Cemetery. Pallbearers were Andy Bill Maiden, Wayne Barton, Mike Culver, Miachael Ray Culver, Ryan Gilliam, Blake Maiden, Fisher Barton and Dutch Renner. Honorary Pallbearers were Carlos \u201cCarbid\u201d Warman, Bobby Teague, Bobby Daniel, J.T. Meredith, Tom Cunningham, David Shepherd and Jerry Sharp.
