John was preceded in death by his wife: Mary \u201cCoot\u201d Cuel; daughter: Diane Wheeler; father, Jovina Mano Cuel; mother, Janie Lay Cuel; sister, Hazel Brock; brothers, Joe Cuel, Daniel \u201cDon\u201d Cuel, Sr. He is survived by his daughter: Betty Cuel; grandchildren, Riki Petrey, Victoria Petrey; two great grandchildren, Zoey Petrey, Brody Petrey; son-in-law, Marty Wheeler; brothers, Jack Cuel and Patsy; sisters, Katie Staton, Minnie Bayer and husband George; sister-in-law, \u200bPat Herrell and husband Bart; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing. The funeral was held Tuesday, February 6 at the Harp Funeral Home with Rev. Don Lay officiating. Burial will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 7, in the Douglas Cemetery (Wooldridge Community). Military Honors will be\u00a0 presented by The American Legion, Arlie Long Post 154. Harp Funeral Home of Jellico in charge of arrangements."}
