That was quite a feat. \u2022 If you are looking for something to do, I suggest \u201cSound the Trumpets,\u201d a show sponsored by the Fine Arts Association of Southeastern Kentucky. It will start at 7:30 p.m. Monday. The show will be at the Conway Boatman Chapel on the campus of Union College in Barbourville. Should be quite an interesting show. \u2022 I\u2019ve been watching the debate over state pensions for a while now with great interest. It got me thinking. I\u2019ve worked for this newspaper 21 years. Nearly all that time, I\u2019ve saved pretty aggressively in our 401k plan, and other ways. The company has a generous match. Even if I had my anticipated Social Security benefits right now, I\u2019d be NOWHERE NEAR being able to retire in six more years, when I\u2019m just 50! Obviously, I need a pension.
