The Corbin native is 1999 graduate of Corbin High School. Trimble went on to graduate from Eastern Kentucky University and studied law at the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University. After passing the bar exam, Trimble said he went into private practice before joining the commonwealth\u2019s attorney\u2019s office in 2014. Trimble said he believes his time on both sides of the courtroom give him a perspective on the justice system that only a few have. While the focus in a case is typically on the defendant, Trimble said the victim(s) often get lost. \u201cIt is very important that the victim or the victim\u2019s family is kept informed,\u201d Trimble said. Above all, Trimble said the prosecutor\u2019s goal should be to ensure that justice is done. \u201cI believe that my extensive experience in state and federal court, as well as my current responsibilities as an Assistant Commonwealth\u2019s Attorney in the 34th Circuit make me uniquely qualified for this office,\u201d Graham Trimble said in a letter announcing his intention to run."}
