Corbin Downtown Director Andy Salmons said the event, now in its fifth year, will return to NIBROC Park with food, fun and music. The festivities will kick off at 4 p.m. with food and craft vendors and artists selling their wares. In addition to what is being offered at the park, the Corbin Art and Literary League will be hosting its second Gallery Hop of 2017, featuring artists of all disciplines. League officials said 18 artists are scheduled to be displaying their talents at the park and businesses along Main Street. At 6 p.m. the music will begin when the band \u201cBuck the Taxidermist\u201d out of Danville takes the stage. \u201cThey are kind of like garage rock,\u201d Salmons said of what to expect from the band. Salmons said the music will take on a different beat as singer\/songwriter Scott Moore steps up to the microphone. \u201cIt is alternative folk music,\u201d Salmons said of Moore. Salmons said Moonbow Nights will be limited to two events this year because of scheduling conflicts with the Cumberland Valley Cruise In on Main Street and NIBROC. \u201cThose events need their times,\u201d Salmons said. Salmons said he feels Moonbow Nights has reached a good place. \u201cOur format is really nice so now we are just going to let it grow,\u201d Salmons said adding that it is a matter of advertising the dates and the musical acts. \u201cPeople know it is happening,\u201d Salmons said. \u201cMy job now with it is just to try to book new entertainment.\u201d"}
