She was one of fourteen children born to the late Cordia Davis Hatfield and George W. Hatfield.\u00a0 Born in Claiborne County, she spent her teenage years living and working in Lafollette, TN. In 1959, she and her sister, Gracie, whose husband Jewel Jessie was in the service, moved to Phoenixville, PA, where she met and married John Horvath, Jr., a steel mill worker, and had two children, Deborah and Rachel.\u00a0 She moved to Jellico, in 1971 to be closer and help care for her aging parents and was a long time resident of Jellico. She leaves behind two families, the first family being, Deborah Angel and Mike Lewis, Aaron and Stacy Douglas and sons Jonathan and Logan, Ben Douglas and daughters Ashlen and Ahlyna, and Rachel North and family.\u00a0 She had two special nieces that she thought of as her own, Tommie Sue Jessie-Bianchi-Rossi of Evans, GA and Wilma Kruse of Jellico. She also leaves behind a sister Betty Ausher and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends, including her best friend, Marie Davis of Jellico.\u00a0 Her second family is the wonderful nurses and C.N.A.\u2019s from the 200 Hall of Beech Tree Manor.\u00a0 She could not have asked for a better family to love, care for and respect her as they have. Graveside service were held January 23, at the Douglas Cemetery with Rev. Willard Smiddy officiating.
