Officials with Kentucky Living said the winners in multiple categories including: \u201cBest Milkshake,\u201d Best Bar-B-Q,\u201d \u201cRestaurant,\u201d \u201cFlea Market\u201d \u201cDistillery Tour\u201d, \u201cAntique Store,\u201d \u201cFried Chicken,\u201d and \u201cRecording Artist.\u201d Cumberland Falls finished second in the tourist attraction category to Mammouth Cave. In addition, Cumberland Falls was enshrined into the \u201cBest in Kentucky Hall of Fame,\u201d as it had earned first place in the category of \u201cBest Scenic View\u201d for three consecutive years. Corbin Tourism Director Maggy Kriebel said Cumberland Falls is the lynchpin in the effort to draw more visitors to the area. \u201cIt gives me something to sell,\u201d Kriebel said. \u201cIt makes it easy to have lots of positivity, enthusiasm and excitement.\u201d Kriebel added that when she is at a tradeshow, it doesn\u2019t take long for visitors to be overwhelmed with the sights and sounds emanating from multiple booths. \u201cWhen I mention the Moonbow and that it is the only place you can see it in the Western Hemisphere, it gets people\u2019s attention,\u201d Kriebel said. Williamsburg Tourism Director Alvin Sharp said Cumberland Falls fits right in the middle of the effort to sell the natural beauty of the area. \u201cIt is the biggest drawing card that we have here,\u201d Sharp said. \u201cYou have to utilize it.\u201d Contest officials said readers submitted their favorites in each category in an open competition held in April. \u201cWe are thrilled to present hard-working Kentucky businesses and individuals with the \u2018Best in Kentucky\u2019 awards as they enrich our lives and are such important assets to the Commonwealth,\u201d KAEC Vice President of Communications Joe Arnold said. Other winners from Whitley County included: The Rootbeer Stand, which tied for third place in the category of \u201cBest Hamburger.\u201d County Wide Band finished second in the category of \u201cBest Recording Artist.\u201d &nbsp;"}
